Faces of China Paintings by Patricia Dallacroce

One of my classmate's mother, Patricia Dallacroce,  saw some of my China pictures on Facebook and decided that she wanted do a series of paintings on them.

“I was fascinated by the rural Chinese people that Jamie photographed, especially by the contrast between the faces of the very young, unmarked by life’s drama, and those drawn upon by age, experience and culture. In painting these people, I tried to capture their personality and emotion and to reveal them to the viewer,” - Patricia.
The series is now on display at the Lafayette Studio, and I think the paintings came out beautifully! See the entire series here!
