Goodbye Delhi

I left India at the end of August, and I have finally finished editing the last of my photos from around Delhi. These don't have any larger theme - just a collection of scenes that caught my eye. Looking at these from back in the US, many of the photos, especially those in Old Delhi, seem like worlds apart. Enjoy!

Mendocino

After returning to the states from Shanghai, I spent a weekend with my family on the coast in Mendocino. Going from a mega-city of 20 million to the "unincorporated community" of Mendocino, population 894, was quite a change of pace, but it was nice to hike through redwoods instead of high rises.

Critter Photography

These are a few critter photo from over spring break. The first is of my dog JJ; I was practicing overpowering the sun with an off-camera flash. The rest are birds a birdfeeder in my back yard. I don't usually do bird photography, but it's pretty easy when they all come and hang out on the bird feeder. For the third shot in this post shot I shoved a speedlight in the vines next to the bird feeder and triggered it remotely to light up the birds when they were on the feeder. Of course, this scared them away pretty quickly, so I didn't get a whole lot of  shots like this. More to come soon. Enjoy!
