Spain: Windows, Doors, and the Church of No Consequence

Walking down the old alleys in Spain I was really drawn to the balconies overhead. Each street seemed to have its own variation on the balcony, and they were fun but challenging subject to photograph from the street below. Unfortunately I didn't end up with as many good shots of them as I would have hoped. I did, however,  amass quite a collection of window and door photos - enough to justify a separate post for them all. The second picture in this post is of inside the San Sebastian city hall, a gorgeous old building that used to be a casino. The HDR style was inspired by photographer Justin Kern, a University of Chicago alum who has outstanding pictures of Chicago (I highly recommend you check out his website). Also, I had to include the last picture of the church because it doesn't fit into tomorrow's category.

A friend showing us around San Sebastian drove by this church (the oldest one in the city) and described it as a church of no real consequence. Hence the title :)
