Dharamshala

A few months ago some friends and I visited Dharamshala, a gorgeous town in the Himalayas and home of the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan community. The clean air and mountain scenery was a welcome escape from Delhi. Of course, the drive from Delhi was delayed buy a few hours by a massive traffic jam (pictured below) caused by an ultra slow toll collector, but Dharamshala was well worth the wait.

Unpacked
A mule returns down the path from the summit of Triund. Supplies for the rest stops on the mountain must be carried up by animals or people.
